Nukunonu, Tokelau 2017

Picture
Yellow crazy ants were causing problems on Motu Akea islet in Nukunonu atoll, Tokelau. Motu Akea is culturally and historically important to Nukunonu's people as it is the only islet with a well.

We worked with the Tokelau Environment officers and village representatives to run some refresher training and ant control.

Evan and Antoine also took the opportunity to raise awareness among the school students around biosecurity issues.
