On behalf of the Pacific Community and the Coconut Industry Development for the Pacific (CIDP) programme funded by the European Union, Pacific Biosecurity developed a training package for Coconut Pests and Diseases in the Pacific.

The training package is implemented as a content-managed web solution, the Coconut Pests & Diseases Toolkit, in a similar way to the Pacific Invasive Ant Toolkit. Currently (December 2024) the website for the Coconut Pests & Diseases Toolkit is not available, but this archived copy can be used until we recover it.

In October 2018 a workshop was held in Apia, Samoa, with more than 30 delegates from industry, biosecurity and research organisations from around the region. The workshop was featured in the Samoa Observer and on Samoan Television.
