Pacific Biosecurity : working together

Welcome to Pacific Biosecurity.

Pacific Biosecurity works together with country, regional agency, non-governmental and private partners to manage invasive species with the goal of protecting cultural, agricultural, human health, biodiversity and other environmental values in the Pacific.

Our aim is to help build resilience to climate change impacts and other challenges by managing the threat of invasive species throughout the Pacific region, where we have been working  with in-country and regional agency partners for many years.

Originally our focus was on managing social insects – primarily ants – but now we work on more broadly on preventing the arrival, establishment and spread of invasive species.

We still assist with managing yellow crazy ants, so if you have problems with these ants, contact us.

Regardless of your situation we will try to help you directly, or help you find others who can assist.
